In this series shot for the past 3 years and ongoing, Im searching for a soul in the moment. A brief second that shows me who my subject portrayed is, where context should play a very relevant piece of information. Contrary to my paintings, my photographs require a background, and in fact I aim for that space to tell me something,  are we in your house where you are comfortable? 

Who is the reflection looking back in your mirror that you use every morning? Are the eyes different if the end of the day is approaching and you are getting ready to dance? 

Is it just entering through your doorframe, stepping that tile that has been cracked years ago, or a nap in the garden?

Are you looking at the endless odyssey you still need to travel or are we renovating a space since you are settling down?

What do you wanna tell me based on context, and how you do it, for me is fascinating, and therefore I see you.

Higher than eyes of mine have power to rise.
